There are critical injuries reported for a male who suffered a stab injury after an incident that involved his girlfriend in a Jersey City community.
According to preliminary reports, the early morning stabbing happened at approximately 4:30 a.m. where police responded to the vicinity of 32 Armstrong Avenue after they received reports of a person bleeding at that location.
Units arrived at the scene requested EMS when they found the victim suffering a severe stab wound to his back according to reports.
Officials say the victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center in critical but stable condition.
The incident is under investigation by Jersey City Police.
Authorities have not released official charges at this time.
