MONTCLAIR, NJ - The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office are looking into a stabbing that left a woman dead in Montclair today.
Police responded to the 50’s block of Greenwood Avenue at around 2:45 p.m. to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival, police found the body of an unidentified woman reportedly suffering stab injuries at that location.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene according to officials.
Authorities would not confirm if the incident is related to a domestic situation and would only say the motive for the crime remains under investigation.’
There were no arrests reported.
