Police are investigating a fatality in Ewing that occurred Tuesday night on the SEPTA tracks near the West Trenton station.
According to SEPTA officials, at approximately 8:30 p.m., a female trespasser was struck and killed by a SEPTA train near the West Trenton Station.
Police say the train was traveling outbound to Center City, and there was no time for the train to stop before contact was made.
No foul play is suspected; however, it is unclear at this time whether it was a suicide or accident.
Service was temporarily suspended between Yardley and West Trenton due to the incident according to SEPTA officials.
