Bloomfield Police are on the search for a robbery suspect that left a woman injured early this morning.
The suspect has (only described as a white male) violently knocked a female victim onto the ground unconscious while taking the woman's pocketbook. The suspect then fled in a dark colored or grey truck,
The incident occurred shortly before 3:30 a.m. in the area of Washington Street and Lackawanna Place.
The woman's injuries were not considered life threatening.
An investigation is underway.
