Police and medical personel recovered the body of a woman found dead inside an apartment of a building in Newark's North Ward overnight.
Emergency responders were called to the 500 block of Mount Prospect after they received reports of a possible injured person before 1 a.m.
Upon arrival, crews found an unconscious and unresponsive woman inside the apartment according to reports.
A preliminary investigation indicated no suspicious activities.
Police were called ot the scene to assist in the investigation.
