New Jersey Stae Police officials are looking into a pedestrian strike that killed a woman on a NJ Highway Wednesday night.
According to a preliminary statement released by NJ State Police, Ms. Jada Smith, 21, of Teackneck was involved in a three-vehicle crash, when she exited her disabled SUV on Interstate 95 Express, near mile marker 121.
Officials said Smith exited her Honda and was then struck by a passing tractor-trailer that around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.
According to NJ State Police officials, Smith was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
There were no other injuries reported in the incident.
State Police would not confirm if the driver of the truck stayed at the scene at this time.
