A brazen early morning carjacking that happened in Newark had a woman as the victim according to reports.
Armed men approached the woman on Monday morning in the area of South Orange Avenue and South 6th Street and ordered her and one other person from the vehicle at gunpoint reports said.
Police arrived to the scene where they searched for the woman's vehicle and the suspects who were responsible for the carjacking.
While at the police precinct filing the reports, suspects reportedly arrived at the woman's home and entered it.
It is not clear what the suspects took from the residence but no one was home during the time the suspects entered.
Police located the woman's vehicle near the grave yard on South 12th Street later in the day.
The woman or her passenger were not injured.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
