According to authorities, a woman accused of allegedly helping two other men scam a 65-year-old man out of his car and money was arrested Friday.
On April 8, an unidentified senior citizen agreed to help Patricia Edwards and two other men, acquaintances, pay a debt. The victim took the three to bank to withdraw an undisclosed amount of money. When the victim returned the trio took the money and fled in the victim's 1992 Mercedes Benz.
On April 22, Edwards was arrested at an 18th Street home. She was charged with carjacking, robbery, and conspiracy charges.
Authorities continue to work on identifying the other two men allegedly involved.
