Burlington County

Carole Hedinger, New Jersey Lottery Executive Director, announced that there was one $1 million second prize New Jersey winner whose ticket matched the 5 white balls from the Tues., Sept.29 Mega Millions drawing.

If that ticket had been purchased with the Megaplier option it would have been worth $3,000,000.

In addition, one New Jersey ticket was sold that matched 4 white balls and the Gold Mega Ball winning the $5,000 third prize. That ticket would have been worth $15,000 if it had been purchased with the Megaplier option.

The $1,000,000 winning ticket was sold in Burlington County at 7-Eleven #10917 (S), 2 E. Main St., Marlton.

The $5,000 winning ticket was sold in Bergen County at the Vince Lombardi (Marriott Corp) Service Area, NJ Turnpike Mile 116E, Ridgefield.

In addition, there were 21 players, whose tickets matched the 4 white balls, making their tickets worth $500. One of those tickets was bought with the Megaplier option, making that ticket worth $1,500. Moreover, 65,724 other New Jersey players took home $114,537 in prizes ranging from $1 to $150, according to Hedinger.

“Congratulations to the lottery winners and to the retailers that sold all of those winning tickets,” said Hedinger. “For selling the winning tickets, the retailers have become many more Lottery ‘lucky locations’ overnight.” The winning numbers for the Tues., Sept. 29 drawing were: 08, 21, 30, 61 and 62. The Gold Mega Ball was 09, and the Megaplier Multiplier was 03.

The Mega Millions jackpot rolls to $47,000,000 for the next drawing, which will be held Fri., Oct. 2 at 11:00 pm.
