Willingboro Police Arrest 18-Year-Old for Shooting Incident

Police in Willingboro took a man into custody and charged him with a shots fired incident Thursday. 

Police say at 2:16 p.m.,  Willingboro Police were dispatched to the area of Barrington Lane for numerous calls for shots fired.

While en route to the call, police were described as the suspect by a caller.  

Upon arrival, Willingboro Police Officers observed a subject matching the description on Barker Lane.  

Police say the suspect, who was later identified as Mr. Dashawn Woodard-Mobley, 18,  of Riverside, was given several commands to stop but ignored police and then fled from officers on foot.  

Officers gave chase and quickly apprehended Mr. Woodard-Mobley in the backyard on Barker Lane and recovered a loaded firearm. 

Police charged Mr. Woodard-Mobley with Possession of a Weapon for Unlawful Purpose, Possession of a Handgun, Resisting Arrest, Obstruction, Possession of a Large Capacity Magazine, and Possession of Hollow Point Bullets.  

After processing, Mr. Woodard-Mobley was lodged in the Burlington County Jail. 

Willingboro Police Said they also located the shooting scene in the area of 72 Barrington Lane.

There have been no reports of injuries or property damage from this incident.
