A West Orange man, accused of being involved in the killing of Brendan Tevlin, pleaded guilty to being involved in a South 15th Street shooting last year.
According to Katherine Carter, spokeswoman for the Essex County Prosecutor's Office, Jeremy Villagran, 20, pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiracy, aggravated assault, and two weapon offenses.
On July 8, 2014, a 19-year-old man was shot during some sort of quarrel.
Due to the ongoing investigation, few details were provided. However, officials did mention that the victim survived his injuries.
Villagran’s sentencing is scheduled for Aug. 11 before Superior Court Judge Ronald Wigler.
