Passaic County officials announced that at approximately 10:09 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to the intersection of Oak Ridge Road and Cozy Lake Road in the Township of West Milford in response to a crash involving three motor vehicles.
Police said the crash involved a 2019 Ford Edge that was being operated by a 29 year old female, of Jackson, a 2019 Jeep Compass that was being operated by a 49 year old female, of West Milford that was also occupied by two juvenile passengers, and a 2002 Toyota Highlander that was being operated by a 57-year-old female, of West Milford.
Following the crash, police said the driver of the Ford Edge was transported to Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains where she was treated for minor injuries.
The occupants of the Jeep Compass were transported to Morristown Medical Center in Morristown where they were treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the Toyota Highlander was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey, where she is receiving treatment for serious injuries.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
