Beginning tonight at approximately 6:30 p.m., Passaic Valley Water Commission (PVWC) will be repairing a break in a 16-inch water main under the Exit 6 ramp off Route 21 North in Belleville.
During this time, commuters who would normally use Exit 6 will need to use an alternate route.
Repairs are anticipated to last about one week. Customers in North Arlington may continue their normal use of water, however, a slight drop in pressure could occur at any time during the work period.
PVWC appreciates local and state authorities for working with us around-the-clock to address this issue as quickly and safely as possible. PVWC thanks its customers for their patience during this time.
