Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of Investigations Stephen F. Wilson, Jr. and Chief Jeffrey Almer of the Washington Township Police Department confirm the investigation of a fire occurring on East Mill Road in Washington Township today.
According to authorities, at approximately 3 a.m., police and fire officials were dispatched to East Mill Road on a report of a residential fire. Responders located an active fire to a dwelling.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that the fire has resulted in no reported injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing.
