Warrant Issued for Two Newark Men Wanted in Separate Incidents

Police today announced that warrants have been issued for the arrest of Izaisah Robinson, 19, and William Ruiz, 34, both of Newark, in separate incidents.

According to authorities, on Tuesday a man was stabbed following a dispute with a man he knows. The victim was subsequently transported to University Hospital for treatment and released.

Detectives investigating this incident identified Izaisah Robinson as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest on Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose charges.

While police are actively searching for Robinson, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating him and removing him from the streets.

Police described Robinson as 6’1” tall, 120 lbs., has a light brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes. Robinson also has a tattoo on his right arm.

In a separate incident, police said that on March 9th, a man reported that his vehicle was broken into in the area of Academy and Halsey streets. The victim’s cash and personal property were stolen and his credit card was later used.

Detectives investigating this incident identified William Ruiz as a suspect in this incident and successfully obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Receiving Stolen Property, Credit Card Theft, Credit Card Fraud and Forgery.

Police described Ruiz as 5’9” tall, 190 lbs., has a fair complexion, brown eyes and brown hair.

Authorities also seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating this suspect.
