According to a Newark Public Safety Officials report, an arrest warrant has been issued for Mr. Gregory Purnell, 34, of Newark, in an incident of burglary into the car that occurred on Friday, February 21.
Officials say at approximately 6 a.m. A victim found that his vehicle, a black 2010 Toyota Camry, had been broken into after being parked in the 100 blocks of North 9th Street.
The victim’s iPad mini, valued at $700.00, was stolen from the vehicle.
Detectives investigating this incident have identified Gregory Purnell as a suspect in this incident and obtained a warrant for his arrest on charges of Burglary into Auto, Theft, and Criminal Mischief. While police are actively searching for this suspect, we seek the public’s help in quickly identifying him as part of this investigation.
