Warrant Issued for Newark Burglary Suspect

A $35,000.00 arrest warrant has been issued for **Michael Thomas, 49, of Newark,** for a burglary that occurred in early August of 2015 authorities said.

According to police, at approximately 5:45 p.m., officers responded to the area of Parkhurst and Brunswick Street on a burglary call. Witnesses saw two male suspects carrying an air conditioner to a silver Monte Carlo before driving away.

Based on authorities continuing investigation, detectives determined that **Michael Thomas** is a suspect in this burglary. The Honorable Vivian King, J.M.C., issued the warrant for Thomas’ arrest.

While police are actively searching for Thomas, we seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets.
