Authorities in Newark reported that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jhonatta Silveira, 36, of Newark, in connection with a burglary that occurred on Thursday, October 26, 2023.
Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said that a victim reported finding the locks to a residence at Sumo Court Village damaged and cash and jewelry stolen from a bedroom.
According to officials, detectives investigating this incident identified Silveira as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Authorities say he is described as 5'9" tall and 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Officials said Director Fragé urges anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jhonatta Silveira to call the Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
