Newark is waking up to a pleasant 69 degrees this Thursday morning as the region enjoys mostly dry conditions and a warm-up to the upper 70s.
While the day will be partly sunny, expect a few clouds and occasional breezy moments. Winds will pick up to 8-10 mph and gusts up to 20 mph.
Although there is a slight chance of light rain in some parts of North Jersey, it is not expected to significantly disrupt plans.
The National Weather Service forecasts a high near 83 degrees today.
There is a 20% chance of showers after 2 a.m., with partly cloudy skies and a low of around 65 degrees.
