Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the person caught on surveillance footage wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred between September 23rd and September 25th at a Newark school.
Police responded to Brick Academy, located at 219 Avon Avenue, on a call of a burglary.
Upon arrival, detectives determined a male suspect entered the school over the weekend and stole electronics equipment, including a laser jet printer, from the school.
According to police, the suspect was last seen wearing a purple shirt, camouflage pants, black sneakers or boots and a camouflage head rag or hat.
While police are actively searching for the suspect, they are asking for the public’s assistance in quickly locating the suspect and removing him from the streets.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
