Burlington County authorities are investigating a violent stabbing that left a person severely injured on Sunday night in Morrestown.
According to police, they received calls reporting an injured person in the 600 block of North Lenola Road shortly before 7:15 p.m.
Police and EMS arrived at the scene found the unidentified person heavily bleeding after being stabbed in the head according to reports.
EMS rushed the victim to an area hospital where doctors began treating severe injuries.
Police have not released a motive for the stabbing.
