A brutal stabbing that happened in Jersey City has police searching for several suspects responsible.
Officials at the Jersey City Medical Center contacted police when a male victim (who was transported by private vehicle to the hospital) suffering a stab wound to the abdomen, that had some of the victim's internal organs exposed.
According to the victim, shortly before 4:30 a.m., about 2-3 suspects approached him on Wilkinson Avenue and began to attack and stab him.
The victim managed to escape the violent attack and make his way to the hospital for help.
Police are looking for the suspects that reportedly fled in a Gold colored Nissan Altima.
The victim was immediately admitted into surgery.
His condition is unknown.
