Residents in Newark's Ironbound section are fuming over the apparent carelessness of a sanitation technician who appeared to dump garbage contaminated juice from the truck and onto a street in the city's East Ward.

The incident happened in the vicinity of Carmen Court near Freeman Street where a resident recorded the technician use a garbage can to scoop liquid from inside the truck then dump it onto the ground.
The video then shows the technician toss the garbage can onto the ground upside down where it hydroplanes on the liquid for a short distance.
City officials did not say if the technician is a city employee or an independent contractor working for a company that provides sanitation service to the city.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
