Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the male suspect in connection with an auto burglary that occurred on Tuesday, September 12.
According to Newark Police, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Police responded to the 600 block of South 10th Street, where a victim reported that items were stolen from a vehicle parked in the area.

Police say a light blue backpack containing an HP laptop and school books was taken from the vehicle.
Detectives investigating this incident observed the suspect entering the victim’s vehicle on surveillance cameras in the area.
He is described as a Black male with a dark brown complexion, wearing a bluish-gray headband, a gold chain, a white tank top, light blue jeans, a red belt, and white sneakers with tape wrapped around the left foot.
