Authorities in Newark requests the public’s help in identifying the male suspect in connection with a package theft that occurred on Thursday, January 9.
According to Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., at approximately 11:15 a.m., a victim’s delivered package was stolen from the front door of a residence at Sayre Street near 17th Avenue.
The package contained clothing items valued at $82.00, Newark Police stated.
Newark officials said that detectives investigating this incident describe the suspect as wearing a red hooded jacket under a dark-colored jacket, light blue jeans, black sneakers, a facial mask, and gloves.
