Authorities in Passaic County are investgiating a stabbing that left a person injured early Monday morning.
According to police, officials at St. Joseph's Hospital contacted Paterson Police when an unidentified person entered the emergency department suffering a stab wound at approximately 12:20 a.m.
Police focused their investigation near the intersection of 21st Street and Madison Avenue after the victim said the attack occurred at the location.
Officials say the victim's injuries were reported as non-life threatening and the motive for the attack remains under investigation.
