Passaic County authorities are checked location in Clifton for a crime scene after the victim of a stabbing arrived at a Paterson hospital during the overnight hours.
Officials at the St. Joseph's Hospital contacted Paterson Police when an unidentified person suffering a stab injury entered the emergency department at approximately midnight.
The victim reported to police that the injury occurred during an attack in Clifton shortly before coming to the hospital.
Police have not reported life-threatening injuries and the motive for the stabbing has not been released at this time.
