Police are reporting serious injuries for a gunshot victim found injured in Downtown Newark.
It happened around 8:10 p.m. near 1125 Broad Street.
Officers arrived and found the victim bleeding from his back after gunfire reportedly rang out in the area.
The suspect fled from the scene and is at large.
Police said the victim has been transported to University Hospital for treatment.
UPDATE: A second gunshot victim has been located on Sherman Avenue. Unknown condition at this time.
