Passaic County officials reported that the Passaic Police Department was alerted to a shooting incident at approximately 8:00 p.m. on July 19, 2024.
Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes stated that a vehicle was struck by gunfire while in the area of exit 11B on Route 21 North in Passaic.
Responding officers were able to locate a potential crime scene, but fortunately, no one was struck by the gunfire.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Prosecutor Valdes noted that more information will be released as it becomes available.
