There were no serious injuries reported in a shots-fired incident that occurred in a section of Newark on Monday afternoon.
According to police, the shooting happened in the city’s North Ward around 5:35 p.m. in the vicinity of Cutler Street and 6th Avenue.
Police said a gunman arrived in the community and began firing several shots, causing pedestrians and residents to duck for cover.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle struck by bullets at that location.
The suspects fled the scene and remain at-large.
