Police in Teaneck are searching for the suspect wanted for stealing a car from a car wash in the city earlier today.
The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Teaneck Road before 9:30 am where police were called to the scene after a male suspect sped off in a vehicle with the keys still in the ignition.
The vehicle is described as a white 2017 Hyundai Sonata with reported NJ license plate numbers "R57-HJF".
The suspect is described as a 5'10" 160 pound black male with short hair.
The incident remains under investigation.
Surrounding towns were notified.
