A vehicle taken from a street in Wharton has police on the search for the suspect responsible for the crime.
Police were called to an address on North Main Street to investigate reports of a stolen car.
The owner told units arriving at the scene that a green 2005 Acura TL was taken from the location sometime before 2:20 a.m.
The car has a reported NJ license plate number "SFR-28X".
