Police in Livingston are on the search for the suspects who are responsible for stealing a vehicle in the city early this morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to an address on Lee Road sometime before 7 a.m. to investigate a stolen vehicle reports.
Units arrived at the scene and began a searching for an Audi Q5 that the owner reportedly left running in the driveway.
Police in Belleville reported an armed robbery that occurred at a gas station on Franklin Street and. Belmont Avenue by 2-3 black males shortly before 8 a.m.
The suspects were wearing masks and armed with guns when they took an unknown amount of cash from the gas station reports said.
They then sped from the scene in the Audi that had an NJ license plate number **"G30-GCG."**
There were no physical injuries reported.
The theft makes it the second Audi reportedly stolen out of Livingston in about a week.
