Police in Newark are investigating a theft of a vehicle that was reported in Newark's East Ward on Tuesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the suspect took the vehicle in the vicinity of Wilson Avenue and Houston Street before 4 a.m.
Reports say an unidentified suspect made off with a 2015 white Ford Fusion with Massachusetts license plates.
The keys were reportedly left in the vehicle.
The investigation is active.
