Police in Jersey City are on the search for a vehicle that was taken during a home burglary at a location in the city Tuesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, thieves broke into a residence located in the 200 block of Bowers Street, at approximately 2:20 a.m., where they stole the keys to a blue 4-door 2003 Jeep Liberty.
Officials say the car has a reported NJ license plate number "Y24-AKM" and was last observed heading eastbound on Carlton Avenue near Tonnelle immediately after the theft.
There were no reports of injuries and the incident remains under investigation by the Jersey City Police Department.
