Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli announced the arrest of 52-year-old Donald G. Mckaba, of Upper Saddle River, on charges of sexual assault, endangering the welfare of a child and Criminal Sexual Contact.
On Friday, January 1, a juvenile female reported to the Upper Saddle River Police Department that she was sexually assaulted by a man inside his residence after a New Year’s Eve party.
Detectives of the Upper Saddle River Police Department notified the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, Special Victims Unit and a joint investigation ensued.
Based on interviews and the investigation, Mckaba was arrested and charged with one (1) count of sexual assault, one (1) count of endangering the welfare of a child and one (1) count of criminal sexual contact.
Bail on the criminal charges was set by the Honorable Walter F. Skrod, J.S.C. of Bergen County at $150,000.00 with no ten (10%) percent option. As conditions of bail, Mckaba is to have no contact with the victim and must surrender his passport.
He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail in lieu of bail.
