Authorities identify 50-year-old woman killed yesterday on Ridgedale Avenue, police said.
According to reports, a 2015 Jeep Wrangler, driven by Laura L. Batte of East Hanover, was heading south on Ridgedale Avenue when it crossed over the double-yellow lines striking a a white box truck driven by 53-year-old Joseph Watson, of Union at about 2:57 p.m.
Watson was transported to Morristown Medical Center for arm injuries.
The crash remains under investigation. However, authorities confirmed that Batte was wearing her seat belt and her cell phone was not in use at the time of the crash.
