Police in the Hudson County town of Harrison are looking for two suspects who injured a woman during a robbery over the weekend.
According to Detective Sergeant Matthew Murphy, on Saturday, June 24, at approximately 9 p.m., Harrison Police received reports of a robbery in progress in the area of Harrison Avenue and Frank E. Rogers Boulevard.
Upon arrival, police said they learned that the victim was walking southbound of Frank E. Rogers Boulevard when the suspect approached in the area of Essex Street
Sergeant Murphy said the suspect was on a scooter when he grabbed the victim's phone while another suspect forcefully took the victim’s purse from her shoulder.
Sergeant Murphy described both suspects as black males who were approximately 5’6” tall to 5' 8” tall.
Police say the suspects wore all black clothing.
They both fled the area on scooters northbound on Frank E. Rogers Boulevard Sergeant Murphy said.
No weapons were used and the victim sustained minor injuries from the purse being forcefully taken from her shoulder.
