The killing of a woman found dead in her Rahway home Monday morning is under investigation, acting Union County Prosecutor Grace H. Park announced.
The victim has been identified as Yolanda Vega, 35.
Members of the Union County Homicide Task Force and the Rahway Police Department responding to a 911 call arrived at a home on the 1900 block of Beacon Street in Rahway at approximately 4 a.m. Monday to find Vega, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy was scheduled for later Monday.
This matter remains under active joint investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office’s Homicide Task Force, the Rahway Police Department, and the Union County Sheriff’s Office’s Identification Unit.
