The Urban League of Essex County is gearing up for its 2024 free summer camp by hosting a mandatory informational and orientation session for all registered participants.
The meeting is scheduled for this Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at The Tech House, located at 152 Littleton Avenue in Newark's West Ward.
This year's summer camp, held from July 8 to August 16, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., promises an exciting curriculum focused on sound engineering, 3D printing, computer building, filmmaking, and math for students in grades 6th through 8th.
Urban League officials are eager to meet the attendees at the mandatory session, where they will provide essential details about the camp's activities and daily expectations.
The session is a critical opportunity for parents and students to learn more about the program and prepare for a summer filled with innovative learning and fun.
