An early morning collision in Howell has claimed the life of a 69-year-old male driver from Lakewood, confirmed Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago on Sunday.
The accident occurred around 2:53 a.m. at the crossroads of Route 9 and Aldrich Road.
The circumstances surrounding the tragic incident are currently being probed by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, the Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART), and local Howell Police.
Authorities are appealing to the public for any witnesses of the crash to step forward.
