UPDATE: Two Teenagers Injured in Paterson Shooting

Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 11:00 p.m. on August 17, members of the Paterson Police Department responded to the area of Jefferson Street and North Main Street in Paterson on a report of shots fired. 

According to county officials, upon arrival members of the Paterson Police Department located a 15-year-old juvenile and a 16-year-old juvenile who each sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds. 

County officials said that the victims were immediately transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment. A potential crime scene was subsequently located in the area.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
