Police in Newark are investigating the motive behind a double shooting in Newark Sunday morning.
It happened shortly before 3 a.m. near 453 Orange Street.
A ShotSpotter activated in the area prompting police to the scene to investigate.
Upon arrival, police found evidence that a shooting had happened, but no victims were found.
While officers investigated the scene, officials at University Hospitals notified police that two entered the emergency room struck by bullets.
The incident is being handled by Newark Police
