Passaic County Prosecutor authorities announced that at approximately 2:10 a.m., Paterson Police were dispatched to the area of Market Street and Cianci Street on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, police located a potential crime scene, but no victim was located.
A short time later, members of the Paterson Police were notified that a 30-year-old male Jersey City resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center via private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Shortly thereafter, police were notified that a second victim identified as a 28-year-old Jersey City man resident arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
