According to a statement released by Red Bank Police Chief Darren McConnell, at approximately 12:30 am today, Red Back Police units responded to 85 Bank Street for a possible problem at the residence.
Upon arrival, officers found five unresponsive male subjects in the home.
The chief said EMS units from multiple jurisdictions responded and transported three patients to Riverview Medical Center.
Two other patients, -one 29 and the other 35-years-old were pronounced dead at the scene.
Foul play is not suspected at this time pending toxicology results according to Chief McConnell.
It appears at this time to be an accidental opioid overdose.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office is assisting Red Bank detectives with the investigation.
