There serious but non-life threatening injuries reported for victims of a car crash that occurred near the campus of Kean University on Thursday evening.
According to officials, emergency respinders rushed to the vicinity of Kean Drive and orris Avenue at approximately 4:50 p.m. where firefighters and rescue crews arrived to find two vehicles involved in a crash at that location.
About five people were transported to area hospitals where they are expected to survive.
Police closed a portion of Morris Avenue while they investigated the cause of the crash. The closure caused heavy traffic congestion in the area.
