According to NJ State Police, at 6:41 p.m., troopers responded to a shooting complaint at a parking lot on 362 Chimney Rock Road in Bridgewater.
Officials said police arrived and spoke to a male victim who reported that while riding a motorcycle, he was allegedly shot by the occupants of another vehicle while traveling southbound on I-287.
Police said the victim was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to police, the suspected vehicle was located and stopped by North Plainfield PD on US-22 in North Plainfield, where officers arrested three male occupants without further incident.
Officials would not say if a weapon was found, but officers searched a portion of Route 22 and I-287 for a gun that may have been tossed from the car.
This incident remains under investigation.
