A raging three alarm fire ripped through a house in in West Orange this evening.
Firefighters were called to the 579 Valley Street at around 6 p.m. where crews arrived to find heavy fire ripping through the roof of a two-story house at that location.
Crews encountered thick smoke, that could be seen for miles, along with heavy flames engulfing the house.
A search of the structure had no injured or trapped occupants according to initial reports.
The fire caused the interior of the structure to collapse fire officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
