According to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office, at approximately 4:11 p.m. on May 31, Paterson Police responded to a reported shooting in the area of 10th Avenue and East 25th Street.Upon arrival, officers discovered an 18-year-old male from Paterson who had sustained a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Accoridng to Prosecutor Valdez, the victim was promptly transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
A potential crime scene was identified by the Paterson Police in the vicinity.
Prosecutor Valdes said the investigation into the incident is ongoing, and further details will be provided as they become available.
