UPDATE: Suspects Wanted for Robbing Victim in Newark; Police Recover Vehicle Used

Authorities in Newark report that a vehicle used during a robbery on May 20 has been located, and police continue to seek the public’s help in identifying the suspects in this incident.AdNewark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé said the white 2017 Infinity Q70 was recovered on May 30, 2024, after two Black males exited the vehicle at approximately 5:54 a.m. on May 20, 2024.

According to officials, they robbed a victim standing at a bus stop on Littleton Avenue, taking his bookbag containing two cell phones, debit and credit cards, and other personal items.

The suspects fled in the vehicle driven by another unknown suspect, officials said. 

Officials say the owner, Sa Jadah Hodge, reported to the robbery squad on June 13, 2024, and is no longer wanted for questioning in the investigation.

Authorities say suspect #1 is a Black male with a medium build who wore black clothing, a yellow traffic vest, and a face mask

Suspect #2, a Black male with a heavy build, wore a black hoodie, tan pants, and a face mask, officials stated.
